A Generous Heart

After The Recipe for Happiness, we are proud to present A Generous Heart, a new 22-day journey of spiritual reflection. Take time each day for reflection, prayer and inner preparation in order to open your heart to receive and give Love to others!

Dear chosen one of Jesus,

We are delighted to present A Generous Heart, a daily guide for spiritual reflection. It was especially designed to help you prepare your heart to encounter Jesus Christ, alive and present in your life.

Practice opening your heart and being generous as you receive and give God's Love.

Throughout this journey, you will receive daily guidance, in text and audio format, to help you cultivate a generous heart! These capsules are inspired by excerpts from the messages from Jesus found in the three volumes of For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones - Jesus.

With A Generous Heart, you will discover how Jesus guides you so that Love can make generosity blossom in your heart. This generosity was placed in you by the Father at the very moment of your conception. As you accept what He wants to say to you personally, your heart will gradually expand and become more open and welcoming.

You can only experience this process by making time for it and by continually saying YES to Jesus over and over again, in everything you experience, in every moment of your life.

This journey is three weeks and one day long. Each week focuses on a theme, as does the last day. There are four themes: Hope, Peace, Joy and Love.

A Bible verse and a saint will accompany you each week. You will discover how to walk with a saint whose life models a generous, embodied YES, and you will have a concrete experience of the Lord's presence at your side.

Keep a notebook handy to write down what comes to your heart as you listen to these capsules. Just as Jesus spoke to the heart of Léandre Lachance (founder of Les Choisis de Jésus and author of the volumes) in the messages you will hear, He also wants to speak to your heart. He desperately wants to build a relationship of Love with you, and, with your consent, form an intimate bond with you that will transform your heart! Are you ready?

You become Love because you are loved by Love Himself!

Prayer from the retreat

Magnificat

My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for He has looked with favour on the lowliness of His Servant. Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed; for the Mighty One has done great things for me, and Holy is His Name. His Mercy is for those who fear Him from generation to generation. He has shown strength with His Arm; He has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts. He has brought down the powerful from their thrones, and lifted up the lowly; He has filled the hungry with good things, and sent the rich away empty. He has helped His Servant Israel, in remembrance of His Mercy, according to the promise He made to our ancestors, to Abraham and to his descendants forever. Glory be to the Father, to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
