Let us ask for Mother Teresa's intercession to grow in faith in action during the upcoming year and to become worthy to stand before God's eyes.

She will lead you to God

Mother Teresa of Calcutta, who was canonized September 4th, 2016, is an emblematic missionary of the 20th century. She left us a tremendous spiritual legacy, marked by joy, confidence, and hope, despite the trial of "spiritual darkness" she endured for five decades.

By answering the call of Jesus at the side of the poorest of the poor, she was a messenger of God's love throughout her life. By her will to belong to Christ and to quench her thirst for love, she became a poignant face of the Father's mercy in our time.

Prayer from the novena

Dear Lord, I kneel before you, by Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Dear Lord, the Great Healer, I kneel before you, Since every perfect gift must come from You. I pray, give skill to my hands, clear vision to my mind, Kindness, and meekness to my heart. Give me singleness of purpose, Strength to lift up a part of the burden of my suffering fellow men, And a true realization of the privilege that is mine. Take from my heart all guile and worldliness, That with the simple faith of a child, I may rely on You. Amen.
