Entrust a Sick Child to God by Praying the Rosary

The rosary is a powerful remedy and the spiritual benefits are numerous. We can use this Marian prayer with confidence to pray for sick children in our family, friends, or sick children in general. In addition to the rosary, we can ask for the help of the saints who will be happy to intercede for suffering children. 

How to Pray for a Sick Child

In the face of a child's illness, we often feel deprived and misunderstood. Cependant, in the trial, we are not alone, the holy Virgin as a good mother is by our side and supports us. The process of the rosary

After each mystery meditation we say a decade of the rosary starting with an Our Father, then ten Hail Marys and ending with a Glory Be. 

Which saints can I pray to entrust this prayer intention?

There are many saints to whom we can entrust a sick child. We can invoke Mother Teresa, who took care of many children in her various missions. She wrote a prayer that we can recite after the recitation of the rosary for example.

Oh Mary, our Mother, I pray to you for this sick child (mention the first name). You are our Mother and we are your children. You know us in all that we need. This child is very ill: I beg you, hold him against your bosom and be a true Mother to him. In the name of Jesus, I ask you, grant this child good health; and bless him, now and forever.
 Amen. 

We can also ask for the intercession of Saint Bernadette. She saw the Virgin at Lourdes, and she will intercede with Mary for the healing of sick children. Claire de Castelbajac, Dominique Savio and other children died young. We can ask for their intercession for healing.
