Guardian Angel Novena

Each of us is under the protection of our own guardian angel, for our entire life on earth. Guardian angels protect us, guide us, watch over us and bring our prayers to the Lord. It is important that you include them in your prayers to strengthen your bond with your celestial guardian: one of the most beautiful forms of prayer is the novena.

Novena to the Angels

The novena to the Angels was put together by Prier Magazine, to help you walk for nine days with these creatures of God and learn to know them and their mission better. You will be using teachings and prayers composed by Popes and Saints.

The Community Prayer

“Angel of God, my guardian dear,

To whom His love commits me here,

Ever this day be at my side,

To light and guard, to rule and guide. 

Amen.”

Short Novena to Your Guardian Angel

To recite a novena to your guardian angel, you can recite this beautiful short prayer every day for nine days:

“O my good Angel, whom God, by His Divine mercy, hath appointed to be my guardian, enlighten and protect me, direct and govern me this day. Amen.”
