Coming from the word "Gospel" which means "good news," evangelism is the announcement of the good news to the world. And this good news is that Jesus, by his death and resurrection, saved us from death and sin and opens us to a new life!
Throughout his ministry, Christ never stopped evangelizing, and, in his wake, he invites us to do the same and sends us on a mission: “Therefore make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). We Christians are thus called to witness to our encounter with Christ, to communicate our faith, to radiate the love of God, because we are the light of the world! Check out these 15 Bible verses that invite us to evangelize around us by announcing the good news of salvation to the world.
