10 Bible Verses on Truth
We all go through great moments of questioning and solitude, during which we cannot find the answers or the solutions to our problems. Jesus tells us, “To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32) Truth frees us from our doubts because it leads us to God. We must not be afraid to face these periods of doubt, but let us not forget to invoke the Lord to help us overcome them. Only his word will be a real help to us. “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way, the truth and the life; No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
“Yet you are near, LORD, and all your commands are true [...] All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal.” (Psalm 119:151, 160).
